KAMBAYOKAS GADOR AWARD

The MSU-Sining Kambayoka Ensemble is giving GADOR awards to their members who continually devote their time and efforts to the development of arts and culture of Mindanao and who continually experiment, promote and develop the Kambayoka Theater Form as a form for National Identity.

The first recipients of the award, which was given in January this year, were Frank Rivera, the founding artistic director of the Ensemble; Dr. Arthur Casanova, who is presently with the Brent International School in Laguna; Dr. Anne Navarro, Chairman of the Drama Department of the Philippine Normal University; and a posthumous award to Edgarito Riconalla, who was instrumental in conceptualizing various cultural projects.
